This Truck was manufactured for Homer Township Fire Protection located in Lockport, Illinois. It was built to withstand the corrosive effects of weather and salty roads. Some of it’s features include Stainless Steel construction, Typhoon X medium cab with 58″ CA, Hale QMAX 1000-2250 GPM single stage pump, 1030 Gallon “L” shape Water Tank, and a Cummins ISL 450HP engine.
The Stainless Steel fabrication on this truck will greatly increase this trucks ability to resist corrosion on the Coast of Massachusetts. It is equipped with a Hale QMAX single stage pump rated at 1500 GPM, 780 Gallon “R” Water Tank, 50 Gallon Foam Tank, Cummins ISL 400HP engine, and a Smart Power 15KW hydraulic model HR-15 (with top mount cooler).
E-ONE’s 5th annual Fire Truck Pull at the Stainless Steel Plant in Hamburg, NY was a huge success with a great turnout and lots of activities. We had 19 fire departments compete for some awesome prizes! This year the Randolph Fire Department came in with the fastest time, 10.34 seconds! Surrounding the main event there was fun for all ages including lots of fire trucks, kids games, a plant tour to see how a fire truck is built, vendor showcases, and plenty of food provided by Firehouse Subs.
Think you have what it takes? We’re planning next year’s event, so set up your team and send in your sign-up form for our 6th Annual Fire Truck Pull that’s happening Friday, July 14, 2017! Get your form here.
